Shure is in the middle of a greenfield SAP S/4 implementation with multiple phases over the next few years. We are seeking a highly motivated individual that is interested in helping to drive and influence this implementation to ensure our desired business outcomes. This position will report into the Sr. Director, SAP Business Applications.

 

SAP supports all the key business processes globally at Shure including Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Record to Report, Product Lifecycle Management, Manufacturing, Planning and Financials. We are seeking proven leadership and overall project management experience to drive this S4 transformation and continue to deliver against a robust enterprise applications portfolio across a complex eco-system that includes several integrating applications including Salesforce, Boomi, IBP, Informatica, MII, Loftware, Ship ERP, Paymetric and many others.

 

This role will be hybrid, based in our Niles, IL location. We are also open to remote candidates for this role. 

Responsibilities

  • Provides overall project management leadership for IT application projects across our SAP related solutions and emerging technologies. Experience in S/4 related greenfield implementation is desired.
  • Ability to develop project summaries including project overview, approach, problem statement/opportunities, goals and objectives and business outcomes.
  • Experience in developing a project stakeholder plan to identify and work with key stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations. Strong ability to work across multiple stakeholders to ensure the project outcomes.
  • Proven experience in developing and managing project plans for complex multi-system solutions by creating detailed project plans, outlining the milestones and resource management.
  • Strong communications skills to keep the project team informed and aware of status.
  • Develops project processes, procedures, and toolkits to improve the standardization, efficiency, and effectiveness of project execution.
  • High acumen of risk management. Able to identify risks that may impact project success and develop contingency plans and / or mitigation strategies.
  • Drives accountability via clear definition of roles and responsibilities.
  • Reviews evolving best practices, new project implementation approach and methods for post-project implementation measurements, including adoption management and continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Monitors metrics to improve quality and quantitative measures of all project outcomes and engagement.
  • Provides tactical execution of projects from beginning to end and is innovative and resourceful.
  • Assist in Change Management, Training and UAT to support successful completion of projects
  • Oversees and monitors project activities and interdepartmental meetings.
  • Supports project team members throughout the lifecycle of project; ensures impediments are resolved quickly and issues are escalated in a timely fashion.
  • Partners and aligns with the Corporate PMO throughout the lifecycle of the project to deliver project outcomes.
  • Oversees the outsourcing/offshoring of various project activities as appropriate.
  • Conducts project closure and transfers lessons learned back to IT project repository.
  • Oversees, monitors and manages the monthly IT Enterprise application program governance

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or other related field
  • 10+ years of global project implementations/management experience in SAP and emerging technologies across a complex application eco-system
  • Solid track record managing strategic and large-scale IT projects
  • Experience using Dev/Ops Tools, Waterfall and Agile
  • Experience managing diverse stakeholder perspectives and priorities
  • Proven track record in relationship building, inspiring teamwork and engagement
  • Proven leadership and knowledge of all phases of project delivery
  • Adept at leading, empowering, and providing thought leadership/direction and coaching for large cross functional teams
  • Previous experience working with other senior managers in establishing strategic plans and objectives
  • Able to work independently in a dynamic and unstructured environment, handle multiple projects simultaneously, and influence stakeholders at different levels
  • Strong customer service skills and focus, ability to form strong business relationships and partnerships
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate and run effective meetings
  • Ability to work under pressure and adhere to tight deadlines with a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to collaborate and work with project team members in global locations across time zones
  • Certification in project management & IT services preferred, PMP, Price 2, ITIL, Safe Agile
  • Ability to work on issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives, as well as an understanding of company culture.
  • Able to establish and assure adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans, and business activities.
  • Able to interact with senior management or executive levels on matters concerning functional areas, divisions, and/or customers.
  • Demonstrates the ability to change the thinking of, or gain acceptance from others, without damaging the relationship.
  • Ability to travel to other Shure locations globally as required by the projects
