Overview

The Senior Specialist, Solutions Sales will primarily focus on partnerships with Microsoft and Zoom as well as audio solutions for conference rooms, plays a pivotal role in generating, qualifying, and pursuing marketing-generated leads. This role also provides valuable feedback on the effectiveness of various programs and activities in lead generation.

 

Preferably based in Redmond, WA area, this role will advance Shure’s relationship with Microsoft. 

 

This role will be remote.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with partner Microsoft/Zoom to drive technical awareness of audio technology for conference rooms, Shure brand building, and serve as a dedicated Shure resource. Partners closely with Shure’s marketing teams to develop and execute events.
  • Implements effective growth strategies that align with Microsoft’s/Zoom’s customer engagement methodology. Stay up to date on the latest Microsoft/Zoom technologies, industry trends, and competitor offerings to effectively position our solutions in the market.
  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with key stakeholders at Microsoft and Zoom. Provides technical insights to Microsoft and Zoom on how Shure’s solutions deliver value.
  • Communicates growth opportunities. Leads education programs with both end-users and channel partners.
  • Anticipates customer needs and overcomes competitive sales objections while positioning products against competition. Delivers prepared sales messaging for Shure products/solutions to move potential customers through the buying process ultimately leading to purchase.
  • Manages key Microsoft/Zoom accounts, executing a progressive business plan based on a strong understanding of dealer channel needs that align with brand strategy.
  • Participates as a thought leader in the MS Team community.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or relevant professional field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a sales account professional beyond entry-level with strong IT and AV technical skills and experience with conferencing solutions.
  • Demonstrates good judgment. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
  • Ability to build productive internal and external working relationships.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments.
  • Detail-oriented, professional, ambitious, well-organized, and good time management skills.
  • Positive attitude, team-oriented, self-starter who can work alone and collaboratively to achieve goals.
  • Knowledge of CRM-related applications and marketing automation applications.
  • Must be willing to be in the Redmond, WA area.
  • Monthly visits to Niles HQ or other regional Shure offices for training and education. Ability to travel 2-3 times per month as needed.
  • Ability to stay current on Shure products, technology, marketplace, and their practical applications, as well as competitive products.
  • Ability to engage as a thought leader in the Microsoft and Zoom communities and confidently provide technical insights to external stakeholders.

PAY TRANSPARENCY

Modeled by extensive market analysis and economic best practices, Shure offers a competitive compensation structure that is reviewed and adjusted annually by our Total Rewards Team to attract, hire, and retain the industry’s top talent. Base salaries vary based on qualifications, geography, experience, and expertise in each respective discipline. The base salary range for this position is between $83k- $141k with a midpoint target to allow for short-term growth and monetary awards for Associates. If your salary expectations do not align, still apply as we are often flexible on the seniority of posted positions. All positions also include an award-winning benefits package.
