SUMMER 2025


Shure offers a challenging, fun and rewarding summer internship program. The twelve-week program is offered to undergraduate and graduate students. We offer internships with a variety of work arrangements from onsite interns to fully remote in US. Each intern will receive a competitive salary. Additionally, Interns who are asked to relocate to Illinois for onsite internships will receive a housing stipend to cover living expenses. Applications will be collected, reviewed, and selected candidates will be contacted in late fall/early winter.


The HR Systems & Data Intern will have a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in HR practices, HR decision-making, and HR processes. This role involves cross-functional collaboration with legal and IT teams, providing exposure to specialized content in HR data management and data security. The intern will actively participate in our HR systems project, a project that is centered around reviewing our HR technology landscape and implementing new systems, processes, and ways of working. Additionally, they will gain hands-on project management experience by working closely with the project manager and will have the opportunity to lead specific segments of the project. 


This Internship is Hybrid.

Responsibilities

  • HR Systems Project 
  • Meeting CoordinationSchedule and attend project meetings. 
  • Core Project Management:  Create project status updates, assist in creating presentation decks for steering committee and other meetings, maintain and update the RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) logs 
  • Assist in gathering, documenting, organizing, and submitting project requirements.  
    • For example, lead the global effort to come to alignment on termination reasons and definitions
  • Document and maintain project processes. 
  • Create test plans and test scripts. 
  • Organize and manage the testing effort. (contingent on project phase and go-live readiness) 

Qualifications

  • In-process of a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in, Data Science, Project Management, Library Sciences, Human Resources, Information Systems or a related field.  
  • Analytical skills and mindset 
  • Ability to take technical concepts and translate them to visuals for non-technical audience 
  • Interest in HR Systems, Data Science, or Project Management 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Powerpoint, Word, etc.) and Project Management Tools (such as Sharepoint, Smartsheet, etc.) 
  • Strong attention to detail 
  • Basic understanding of data privacy and confidentiality principles 
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams (legal, HR, IT) 
  • Excellent organizational skills

PAY TRANSPARENCY

Modeled by extensive market analysis and economic best practices, Shure offers competitive intern compensation that is reviewed and adjusted annually by our Total Rewards Team to attract, hire, and retain the industry’s top intern talent. Each internship has an hourly rate which varies from $21-$40 per hour based on job function (Engineering, IT, Business, etc) and year completed in school (Junior, Masters 2nd year, PHD, etc).
