SUMMER 2025


Shure offers a challenging, fun and rewarding summer internship program. The twelve-week program is offered to undergraduate and graduate students. We offer internships with a variety of work arrangements from onsite interns to fully remote in US. Each intern will receive a competitive salary. Additionally, Interns who are asked to relocate to Illinois for onsite internships will receive a housing stipend to cover living expenses. Applications will be collected, reviewed, and selected candidates will be contacted in late fall/early winter.

 

The Legal Intern will assist with various legal and administrative tasks, providing support to our in-house commercial legal team and gaining valuable hands-on experience working with cross-functional business and technical teams in a corporate environment.  This role is ideal for a law student looking to gain practical experience and insight into the daily operations of an in-house legal team.


This Internship is Onsite.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research on various legal issues, case law, and regulations to support ongoing legal matters and projects.
  • Work closely with attorneys and paralegals to support special projects as needed, which may include policy updates, risk assessments, and legal training sessions.
  • Assist in drafting, reviewing, and revising of contracts, template agreements, legal memos, and other documents.
  • Perform general administrative duties such as organizing and maintaining legal documents.
  • Support the team in ensuring company compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including assisting with internal audits.
  • Support trademark prosecution and enforcement efforts and other trademark projects as needed

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a law degree at an ABA-accredited law school
  • Basic understanding of legal principles and procedures
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office. Familiarity with contract management systems is a plus.
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Knowledge or interest in commercial law, contract law, regulatory compliance, privacy law, or intellectual property, including trademark law is a plus.

PAY TRANSPARENCY

Modeled by extensive market analysis and economic best practices, Shure offers competitive intern compensation that is reviewed and adjusted annually by our Total Rewards Team to attract, hire, and retain the industry’s top intern talent. Each internship has an hourly rate which varies from $21-$40 per hour based on job function (Engineering, IT, Business, etc) and year completed in school (Junior, Masters 2nd year, PHD, etc).
