SUMMER 2025


Shure offers a challenging, fun and rewarding summer internship program. The twelve-week program is offered to undergraduate and graduate students. We offer internships with a variety of work arrangements from onsite interns to fully remote in US. Each intern will receive a competitive salary. Additionally, Interns who are asked to relocate to Illinois for onsite internships will receive a housing stipend to cover living expenses. Applications will be collected, reviewed, and selected candidates will be contacted in late fall/early winter.

 

As a Product Record Data Analyst Intern, you will work closely with the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) team, gaining hands-on experience in managing and analyzing product data related to Change Management, Manufacturing (MFG), and PLM Processes. This internship offers a unique opportunity to develop data management, analysis, and cross-functional collaboration skills in a real-world setting. You will have the opportunity to work under the guidance of experienced professionals and will receive mentorship throughout the internship period.


This Internship is Hybrid.

Responsibilities

PLM Change Management

  • Track the status of engineering change requests (ECRs) and ensure they are processed within the specified timelines.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely implementation of changes.

Data Management and Analysis

  • Help analyze product material data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas of improvement
  • Support in generating regular reports on product data metrics.
  • Utilize data visualization tools to present findings and insights in a clear and actionable manner.
  • Use tools like Tableau or Excel to create dashboards for real-time data monitoring.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Engineering, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Basic understanding of data analysis concepts and tools
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Strong interest in PLM, data analysis, or related fields within a manufacturing environment.

PAY TRANSPARENCY

Modeled by extensive market analysis and economic best practices, Shure offers competitive intern compensation that is reviewed and adjusted annually by our Total Rewards Team to attract, hire, and retain the industry’s top intern talent. Each internship has an hourly rate which varies from $21-$40 per hour based on job function (Engineering, IT, Business, etc) and year completed in school (Junior, Masters 2nd year, PHD, etc).
