Our Wheeling Regional Distribution Center is growing at Shure. We are seeking talented, motivated Warehouse Specialist to join our team. 

 

The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for efficiently packaging and preparing domestic and international customer orders for various shipping methods, including truck, air, and pickup shipments. This role involves hand labeling, using tools like box-cutters, pallet jacks, and tape guns to safely handle boxes. The specialist will walk the Receiving and Distribution Center to select the correct parts and products needed for client orders, utilizing SAP systems for virtual packing within Hupast and Processweaver. Additionally, they will stack completed cartons on pallets for shipment and perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Packages and prepares Domestic or International customer orders according to priority for truck, air, and/or pickup shipments per Delivery or Consolidated shipping list
  • Labeler by hand and uses box-cutter, pallet jack, and tape gun to open, move, and close boxes safely.
  • Walks the Receiving and Distribution Center to pick the correct parts/products to fulfill client orders
  • Utilizes SAP to virtually pack materials within Hupast and/or Processweaver
  • Stacks completed cartons on pallet in a manner suitable for shipment
  • Performs other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years of experience working on assignments that are semi-routine in nature, requiring limited judgment
  • General Warehouse duties with ability to stand and walk for long periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to learn and apply company policies and procedures to assigned tasks
  • Ability to follow established procedures on routine work; requiring detailed instructions only on new assignments
  • Ability to work overtime and flexible hours on occasion
  • Basic reading skills
  • Basic math skills
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Enjoys working with people in a team environment

PAY TRANSPARENCY

Shure offers a competitive compensation structure that is reviewed annually to attract, hire, and retain the industry’s top talent. Base salaries vary based on qualifications, geography, experience, and expertise in each respective discipline. The base salary range for this position is between $36,100 - $60,500, with a target of $43,000 base. Additional premiums may be offered for forklift drivers and based on shift. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base salary for this opportunity. If your salary expectations do not align, still apply as we are often flexible on the seniority of posted positions. All positions also include an award-winning benefits package.
