The Senior Director, Strategic Alliances – Global Sales is a crucial leadership position within Shure, entrusted with the responsibility of shaping and scaling our go-to-market alliance strategy. This role requires a strategic leader capable of driving alignment with tier-1 distributors and global solution integrators, ensuring that Shure’s conferencing and collaboration portfolio is maximized through B2B sales channels. This role emphasizes IT-scaled routes to market in harmony with key partners such as Microsoft, Zoom, and Google, while maintaining and growing our traditional AV integrator channel.

 

This role can be remote, or hybrid, based in our Niles, Illinois at our HQ office.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement a comprehensive global channel strategy for the IT/UC two-tier distribution model.
  • Strengthen partnerships with major global distributors (e.g., TD/Synnex, Ingram Micro, Midwich) and resellers (e.g., WWT, CDW) to enhance Shure’s B2B sales operations.
  • Develop strategic plans with global solution integrators (e.g., AVI-SPL, Diversified) to support enterprise solution delivery.
  • Establish global partner programs, incentives, and enablement pathways aligned with tiered GTM execution.
  • Translate strategic alliance frameworks into actionable GTM programs in collaboration with global and regional sales leadership.
  • Foster co-selling strategies and attachment tactics with Microsoft, Zoom, and Google field and channel teams.
  • Develop standardized sales plays and partner enablement content in alignment with our collaboration portfolio.
  • Co-manage joint pipeline development with Shure’s regional sales leaders, distribution, and reseller partners worldwide.
  • Operationalize scalable partner onboarding, training, and incentive models across the two-tier ecosystem.
  • Implement tools and dashboards to monitor sell-through performance, partner adoption, and certification advancements.
  • Collaborate with marketing to deliver comprehensive global partner campaigns and field activation support.
  • Coordinate GTM execution with product management, marketing, and other divisions for market coherence.
  • Serve as the partner-facing executive sponsor across multiple global alliance stakeholders.
  • Integrate partner feedback into product and commercial planning processes.
  • Represent Shure in global partner summits, distributor advisory boards, and strategic forums.
  • Advocate for Shure’s collaboration portfolio across Microsoft Teams, Zoom Rooms, and Google Meet solutions.
  • Promote scalable, consistent, and IT-aligned selling methodologies over custom AV-centric models.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or related graduate degree preferred.
  • 15+ years of experience in global channel sales, alliances, or GTM leadership roles in the IT or collaboration field.
  • Proven success in scaling partnerships with global distributors and tier-1 resellers.
  • In-depth understanding of the IT/UC B2B sales model, with extensive knowledge of Microsoft, Zoom, and Google sales approaches.
  • Accomplished track record in a two-tier model, including experience with distribution, VARs, and global integrators.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to manage P&L from alliances.
  • Executive presence with cross-functional leadership experience in global matrix organizations.

PAY TRANSPARENCY
Shure offers a competitive compensation structure that is reviewed annually to attract, hire, and retain the industry’s top talent. Base salaries vary based on qualifications, geography, experience, and expertise in each respective discipline. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum base salary for the opportunity. The base salary for this position ranges from $184,500 to $332,100, with a midpoint target.  This position may also be eligible for our incentive pay program, which varies based on individual and Company performance in the year. If your salary expectations do not align, still apply as we are often flexible on the seniority of posted positions. All positions also include an award-winning benefits package.
