Join a tight-knit team of folks with a manager who encourages creativity and exploration in all things content. You’ll take the lead on your own projects and bring them from the page to the screen. Help us demystify complex topics and make them accessible to our customers. Get people excited about new products and how we can make their jobs easier. It’s a fast-paced environment with no shortage of projects. We’re looking for someone who can bring their own style and voice to a collaborative team. You’ll film in the studio and sometimes travel on location. You’ll be working with different departments throughout the company, so communication and collaboration are key.

This position is hybrid, and based in our Niles, IL and Skokie, IL locations. In this role, you will film in our Skokie or Niles locations and travel domestically up to once per month. 

Responsibilities

  • Video projects will vary, but include product overviews, social cuts, educational content, and marketing campaigns. 
  • Assist with planning, developing, filming, and editing videos for use on Shure channels including the website and social media. 
  • Help with the script writing process. 
  • Collaborate with Marketing teams and Product teams to understand new products and how to position them in the marketplace. 
  • Participate in Agile processes, including regular team meetings and iterative planning, to support Marketing projects. 
  • Work with local freelance resources and agencies as needed, to deliver creative projects. 
  • Some travel to location shoots or trade shows is required. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Video Production or 1-3 years’ experience in the industry. 
  • Proficiency in Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects. 
  • Experience with cinematography and lighting principles. 
  • AI fluency or a passion for exploring it. 
  • Self-starter who can work independently but also contribute ideas when working as a team. 
  • Pride in your work and attention to detail. 
  • Strong understanding of the video production and post-production process. 
  • People skills, both written and verbal. 
  • Bonus skills we’d love to see: Davinci Resolve, 3D graphics, motion graphics, photography.

PAY TRANSPARENCY
Shure offers a competitive compensation structure that is reviewed annually to attract, hire, and retain the industry’s top talent. Base salaries vary based on qualifications, geography, experience, and expertise in each respective discipline. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum base salary for the opportunity. The base salary for this position ranges from $54,700 to $87,600 with a midpoint target. If your salary expectations do not align, still apply as we are often flexible on the seniority of posted positions. All positions also include an award-winning benefits package.
