You, as the Supply Planner I will be responsible for the supply of finished goods and bulk assemblies from all Shure locations to the Regional Distribution Centers in alignment with global service and inventory goals. You will be the primary communication link between sales/customer service and the integrated Supply Chain.

 

This position may be remote or hybrid, based in our Niles, IL location.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures supply of sales demand to the RDC which may include assisting in resolving part shortages, assisting in allocations of limited components, and preventing potential schedule interruptions as well as managing SAP parameters such as Coverage Profile, Lot Size, MRP Strategy, and Forecast Consumption.
  • Manages Stock Transport Orders (STO) or Purchase Orders for inbound finished goods and assemblies.
  • Provides regular feedback to sales/customer service on service level and supply performance.
  • Participates in the monthly Global Demand and Supply Reviews as part of the S&OP process.
  • Supports introduction of New Products into the RDC including population and maintenance of Material Masters in SAP for finished goods.
  • Supports discontinuation of Products in the RDC in accordance with global Discontinued Product Notice procedures
  • Communicates capacity/supply position to sales and respond to and facilitate requests for exceptions to frozen forecast and unusual order quantities by reviewing options and costs with Purchasing and Manufacturing.
  • Performs all duties according to global practice.
  • Contributes to business process definition and documentation.
  • Other duties as assigned by manager.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or related field, Certification in APICS CSCP/CPIM is preferred.
  • Entry level to 2 years of experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge in production and inventory control, supply chain analysis, inventory stock targeting, and capacity studies and learns to use professional concepts
  • Able to apply company policies and procedures to resolve routine issues.
  • Able to travel internationally <10%
  • Able to use good judgment and follow practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data
  • Comfortable communicating in English and working closely with other functional areas, locations, and levels within the organization.
  • Demonstrated skills in data analysis and problem solving.
  • Demonstrated planning, organizational, communication and presentation skills.
  • Positive and flexible attitude.
  • Experience with SAP MRP and SAP IBP preferred.

PAY TRANSPARENCY
Shure offers a competitive compensation structure that is reviewed annually to attract, hire, and retain the industry’s top talent. Base salaries vary based on qualifications, geography, experience, and expertise in each respective discipline. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum base salary for the opportunity. The base salary for this position ranges from $54,700 to $87,600. If your salary expectations do not align, still apply as we are often flexible on the seniority of posted positions. All positions also include an award-winning benefits package.
